Backhoe Loader is one of a type of
multifunctional equipment that can be applied in various sectors. Therefore, it
is common that the Backhoe Loaders product is still in demand by the Indonesian
market due to its ease of mobilization. Seeing this market, Bobcat released its
new product for the Indonesian market, the Bobcat B760 with a side shift type
and powered by the well-known Perkins engine and Carraro drivetrain components
which are believed to be able to provide one of the best solutions provider in
Indonesia for BHL series.
Seeing this potential and adding to the
supply challenges experienced by several other types of Bobcat products, MEI refuse
to remain idle and is taking steps to be able to provide its existence in the
Compact Equipment Industry in Indonesia with the Bobcat B760 which is believed
to have quality specifications that can match its competitors, even the market
leader.
But it's not an easy thing to achieve, with
all efforts tried. But in the end as a new brand in the BHL series in
Indonesia, the government sector is believed to be an opportunity that can be
elaborated on for the initial stage of targeted customer.
Through operational excellence and deep
process up to ±6 months from the
sales team initiated by Mr. Donnie B. Pranoto as GM Sales collaborates with suppliers
and through good relations with the city government of Medan as the third
largest city in Indonesia (Sumatra Island) who previously purchased 5x S450.
So, the deal also happened for the purchase of 5x B760 as the delivery of the
first Bobcat B760 Backhoe Loader in Indonesia. It is believed that the Medan
City Government has also provided good awareness for the Bobcat and Multico
brands where the machines are used in the urban area together with the Multico
stickers displayed on the unit, make it easier to notice by the relevant
market.
It doesn't stop there; MEI took the
initiative to give appreciation to operators who contribute in the form of
videos of units operating 1x per week per unit to be posted on their own personal
social media accounts by providing hashtags that refer to Multico’s products
with the hope of strengthening our existence on social media and providing
additional material for MEI Marketing Team to repost the video to increase
market confidence in products that have been used in Indonesia by video
evidence.
Even with the tight competition and the
size of the market, MEI is committed to being creative in carrying out
measurable marketing activities and continuing to synergize with stakeholders
in order to get mutual benefits.
